Meet Our Team

Dr. Genye Hawkins co-owns SOAH with Dr. Glenn Finnell. She is a graduate of Auburn University School of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Glenn Finnell is also a graduate of Auburn University School of Veterinary Medicine. His professional interests include surgery, both soft tissue and orthopedic and internal medicine.

Dr. Marcia Cushing is a 1979 graduate of Ohio State University's College of Veterinary Medicine. She joined the SOAH staff in 1991 after practicing medicine in the Orlando area for several years. She enjoys a large variety of pets including Chip, the office clown, cats, rabbits and chickens.

Dr. Elizabeth Tyler joined the SOAH team soon after graduating from St. George's University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2022. 

Dr. Marissa Horton joined the SOAH team in 2023 after relocating to Florida from New York. She graduated from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2018. 

Dr. Jane Waine graduated from St. George's School of Veterinary Medicine in 2020. She has been a small animal general practitioner in Central Florida since and enjoys spending time with her husband and three cats, Huey, Sweet Pea and Hal. Dr. Waine has a special interest in treating cats with as much love and care as possible.
